Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement
Khazanah Journal of Management (KJM)
Khazanah Journal of Management (KJM) is a peer-reviewed journal published by Asosiasi Khazanah Cendekia. This statement clarifies the ethical behavior expected of all parties involved in the publication process, including authors, the Editor-in-Chief, Editorial Board members, peer reviewers, and the publisher.
This statement is based on the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.
Duties and Ethical Guidelines of the Publisher

As the publisher of Khazanah Journal of Management, Asosiasi Khazanah Cendekia takes its responsibility to oversee all stages of the publishing process seriously and recognizes its ethical and professional obligations.
The publisher commits to:

Duties of the Editor-in-Chief
The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the overall academic quality and integrity of the journal.
The Editor-in-Chief shall:

Duties of the Editors
Publication Decisions
Editors are responsible for deciding which submitted manuscripts should be published, based on academic merit, originality, clarity, relevance, and contribution to the field of management.
Editors may consult reviewers and Editorial Board members in making decisions and must comply with applicable legal requirements regarding defamation, copyright infringement, and plagiarism.
Handling of Manuscripts

Manuscripts must be evaluated promptly.

Authors must receive acknowledgment upon submission.

Eligible manuscripts should be sent to peer review without delay.

Editorial decisions must be clearly communicated with supporting reasons.
Conflict of Interest
Editors must recuse themselves from handling manuscripts where conflicts of interest exist. In such cases, another qualified editor will be assigned to manage the review process objectively.
Submission by Editorial Board Members
All manuscripts submitted by Editorial Board members undergo the same rigorous peer-review process as other submissions. Editors involved as authors must not participate in editorial decisions regarding their own work.
Duties of Reviewers

Khazanah Journal of Management applies a double-blind peer review process, where the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from each other.
Responsibilities of Reviewers
Reviewers must:

Identify relevant published work not cited by authors.

Report suspected plagiarism, duplication, or unethical behavior.

Reviews must be professional and focus on the content of the manuscript, not the authors personally.
Duties of Authors
Originality and Plagiarism
Authors must submit original work. Plagiarism in any form, including self-plagiarism, is unacceptable.
Reporting Standards
Authors must present accurate and honest research results. Fabrication, falsification, or manipulation of data constitutes unethical behavior.
Data Access and Retention
Authors should retain raw data for a reasonable period after publication and be prepared to provide access to such data if requested.
Multiple or Concurrent Submission
Authors must not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously.
Authorship
Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made significant contributions to the research. All co-authors must approve the final version of the manuscript.
Conflict of Interest
Authors must disclose any financial or other substantive conflicts of interest that could influence the results or interpretation of their work.
Ethical Oversight
