Submission Process
1. Author Submission
Authors submit their manuscripts through the journal submission system in accordance with the journal’s author guidelines and template.
2. Administrative Check (approximately one week)
The editorial administrator conducts an initial screening of the submitted manuscript to verify:
-
the similarity index, with a maximum allowed result of 20% based on plagiarism screening;
-
the manuscript’s suitability with the focus and scope of Khazanah Journal of Management;
-
compliance with the journal’s formatting and submission requirements; and

the use of the required citation and reference style.
After this stage, the manuscript will be:

The Editorial Board evaluates the manuscript based on several academic criteria, including:

-
originality and contribution to knowledge;

After this evaluation, the manuscript will be:
-
rejected, or

sent to reviewers for peer review.
4. Reviewer Stage (approximately one to three months)
The manuscript undergoes a double-blind peer review process and is reviewed by at least two reviewers with expertise in the relevant field.
At this stage, the manuscript may be:
-
rejected, or
-
returned to the Editorial Board together with the reviewers’ recommendations.
5. Editorial Decision Stage (approximately one to four weeks)
The Editorial Board examines the reviewers’ comments and recommendations and determines whether the manuscript should be:
-
accepted,
-
accepted with minor revisions,
-
returned for major revisions, or
-
rejected.
6. Revision and Re-evaluation Stage (approximately one to four weeks)
If revisions are required, the authors must revise the manuscript and resubmit it within the time specified by the editorial team. The revised manuscript will then be evaluated by the editors and, when necessary, returned to the reviewers for further assessment.
After this stage, the manuscript may be:
-
rejected, or
-
forwarded to the Editor-in-Chief for final consideration.
7. Final Decision by the Editor-in-Chief (approximately two to four weeks)
The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision regarding the manuscript based on the recommendations of the Editorial Board and reviewers.
After this stage, the manuscript will be:
-
accepted for publication,

returned for further revision, or
-

8. Copyediting Stage (approximately one week)
Accepted manuscripts proceed to the copyediting stage. At this stage:

the manuscript is edited for language, style, consistency, and formatting;
-
authors may be asked to review the edited version; and
-
authors are required to complete any necessary administrative documents, such as the Copyright Agreement and other publication forms required by the journal.
9. Proofreading Stage (approximately one week)
The final version of the manuscript is checked carefully to ensure that it is free from typographical, grammatical, and layout errors before publication.
Authors may be asked to review the proof version and confirm that all details are correct.
10. Publication
